It’s all about trust.
Words build trust, and trust compels action.
How many times do you scroll through a company’s website before buying their product or service? Check their social media to see how they present themselves? You’re not alone. The Demand Gen Report found that 44% of buyers typically consume 3 to 5 pieces of a company’s content before making a decision.
This isn’t puzzling, especially for those working to improve our world. Beyond value for money, consumers want to safeguard their identities and self-worth; businesses want to ensure alignment in values and reliability.
Simply, we cooperate with those that we trust; and buy products and services from those that we trust.
Words are not just information. To your audience, they are the soul of your business.
However, great messaging rarely just happens. Here’s how I get you there:
I help you get clear on what matters – What do you actually want to say? Let’s figure that out.
I listen, research & learn – I dig into your brand, your product, your space, and the people you want to reach.
I find the messages that stick – The words that make people stop, care, and connect.
I help you communicate them with impact – So your message lands and action follows.
Put simply:
Words build trust. Trust compels action. Let’s create messages together that do both.
Now, let me tell my story... at least, the polished version I wrote in the third person.
About William.
Hailing from Edinburgh, William Murray is a versatile native English speaker based in The Hague. Captivated by language and how we express ourselves, he speaks Dutch fluently, French convincingly, and is currently learning Ukrainian.
Starting his career in financial and corporate public relations, William has since worked as an academic public health policy researcher, a writer and project officer in the geopolitical peacebuilding sphere, and a networker and community builder in The Hague’s development sector. Building connections and influencing people has been the red thread throughout his career.
He holds an MSc in Political Science (his thesis focused on how ethnic conflicts can be perpetuated by identity-forming discourse) and a BA in International Relations.
When not reading and writing, William loves dancing and getting in the sea:
“It’s good for the soul.”
